Advent Missions with
Msgr. David Cruz
December 3, 2024
Msgr. David Cruz spoke how while we experience much joy during this time of Advent, many are faced with sorrows. Just as our Blessed Mother experienced sorrow seeing her son's suffering...she had hope and trust in God. May we also have that same hope amongst our own sufferings.

Fr. Jeremy Trull
December 4, 2024
Fr. Jeremy Trull shared with the community how the world has a different definition of the word 'hope'. While to the world having hope is more about wishful thinking...Christian hope is about having confident expectations. For us, hope is saying to God that we trust in His promises and our hearts long for Him.

Advent Missions with
Fr. Jose de Dios
December 9, 2024
Fr. Jose de Dios spoke how St. Juan Diego, when the Virgen de Guadalupe appeared to him, he expressed how he was "nothing' signifying his feelings of unworthiness. Father mentioned how God reveals himself to those who are humble.
May we also be like St. Juan Diego and believe that even the most ordinary person can be chosen by God to do great things.

Fr. Ernesto Lopez
December 10, 2024
This evening Fr. Ernesto spoke about the Annunciation of the angel to Mary. Focusing on the word “hail”. Which in greek is, “Kaire” meaning rejoice, the same word that is used in the Old Testament by the prophets when the King was coming. Announcing that he was freeing us of our enemies because the King has defeated the enemies and removed all judgment for the people. Announcing a triumphant entrance of the King in victory.
To sum up what the Angel said to Mary, ‘hail’ which means rejoice, because the time is now that Mary will be the Mother that brings humanity the King, who is coming to forgive our sins defeating the evil one and bringing to the people triumph and victory.
That is why we say our Blessed Mother is the Mother of Hope, because Hope is Christ.
